I first got interested in genealogy as a kid at a family reunion. The Mahon's (my Mom's maiden name) are very interested in family history and Robert Mahon who was researching the Mahon family would come to the reunion and tell us what he found. Years later when my grandparents were still living, I started working at a local library, I began doing my own research. I would take what I found and ask my grandparents questions and hear their stories. I'm still adding to my family history as time permits in my busy schedule.
