Born & raised in Indianapolis. Genealogy addict!
My paternal grandparents were both from the Warren/Butler County, KY area.
Maternal ancestors were from Hardin & Breckinridge Cos, KY before crossing the river into southern Indiana. I search for Wand, Sublett, Ellis, Ferguson, Cohron, Causey, Williamson, Barmore, McDonald, Ross and many others. I have had this addiction for about 30 yrs! Since there is no cure for it, I just try to make the best of it. Of course, my children think I am crazy & they may be right.
I am married with 3 grown children & one granddaughter (my joy!)

Due to ongoing health problems, I haven't been able to spend much time on the computer for several months.

UPDATE:

On September 18, 2015, after battling for 6 long years, Madeline Claudia Welch succumbed to stage 4 metastatic breast cancer while surrounded by family.
She will be sorely missed.
Soon, there will be a nice grave stone and I'll be sure to update with that information including photos as I have been chosen as administrator for all of her accounts including her personal ancestry file.
