Bio

I was born in Missouri but have lived most of my life in Indiana. I am married with 2 children and 8 grandchildren. I am a teacher. I became interested in genealogy in 1979 when I attended a Hooser reunion. I trace my DAVIS, DRAFFEN, HOOSER, CALVERT,MARTIN, LONG, and BEAR ancestors as well as my husband's family of HICKS, PAUL, and others.. I have taken many ancestors stones and I appreciate finding other stones on line when I cannot get to that cemetery. One desire I have is to make a new stone for all those known to be buried in the Old Davis Cemetery in Cooper County, Mo. which was bulldozed under in the 60's. I have one partial stone found there of Phillip E. Davis and his wife Cynthia. Alt least one other cemetery I know was destroyed, but I don't know who was there. My uncle , Jerry Davis was able to copy information off the stones before they were lost.
