RE: Icil Stafford
Hi Pat
I forgot that I had posted her obituary.
I would like to have your new address. My address and phone # is still the same. It was good to see that you also did your DNA. A lot of familiar names came up for me.

Earl McGee
Hi. I am writing to you regarding my grandfather, Earl McGee. I wanted to say thank you for adding his information and pictures to this site. I knew most of the information, but did not have any of the pictures. Also, are you related to him somehow? Please write back regarding this. I appreciate your time attention.

James Lyle Milburn

He is buried at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California. Hope this helps.

Thank you, K.

RE: Sarah/Sophia Patterson
Well, in justice, Sophia did outlive both Jacob & Wilmer, so 'leaving' them anything would have been problematic. And of course, Wilmer apparently stayed close to Momma whilst Jacob ran off to distant Iowa!
I've found two instances of a James Patterson marrying Sarahs, one 'Stevenson'(1849), the other a 'Shotte'(1851); Richland & Trumbull Counties respectively. but they're both quite a ways from Coal Run. And one Sarah Patteron buried in Mercer, Ohio in Feb. 1852. No birth date noted, but the dove carved on the stone is, I think, symbolic of a child passing 'before her time'. Mercer County is on the western border of Oh., even further from Coal Run.

Sarah/Sophia Patterson
I currently have Sarah as Jacob's mother, although I've no death or marriage date.
I feel that Sophia is the mother of Wilmer A..
Do you have marriage/death, and/or maiden name info on Sarah?

RE: Ivan Lacey
Okay, thanks for the helpful information. You may want to note that on the memorial, since the diffrent surnames are confusing. I thought maybe an error.
Best Regards,

Hello Pat, I submitted an edit request adding her maiden name of "Close". Source was her death notice in the Gloversville NY newspaper. Paul Turner
