Bio

I got the genealogy "bug" in the 1970's when my grandmother showed me the Samuel Teague Family Bible (Samuel Teague and Martha Susan Davidson) from the 1860's. Teague's were in Alamance- Chatham Co., NC. Davidson's in Randolph Co., NC. Samuel Teague a Quaker left with 13 other Quaker men through the mountains of Tennessee to Westfield, Hamilton Co., IN., where other Quaker's living. The reason for leaving is Confederate soldiers were looking for recruits to fight for the South in our Civil War.
Then, I started on my mother's Foster-Lathrop-Munson Families in Oquawka, Henderson Co., IL. to Ionia, Ionia Co., MI., and Grand Rapids, Kent Co., MI. Also her mother's Babcock-Dake family of Newaygo Co., MI.
