I got started in Family History when my kids were little mainly because my mom didn't really know much about her mother's family because my grandmother died when my mom was 4. Apparently there were conflicts about who would raise the 3 children and my grandfather wanted to keep them together. Any way, me and mom & dad got to meet some of the aunts and uncles. They were very loving to us. Unfortunately they are all gone but lots of their children are still around. I didn't work on this for a decade or so because I worked and had a family. Thanks to computers and the internet I have learned a lot of things I never knew about a lot of my family good and bad and sad. I hope to learn more.
