I am Irene Joyce May White, I was married to my husband Andy Lee White, Sr. for 52 1/2 years when he passed away July 18, 2009. We have one son Andy Lee White, Jr., born 3/16/1960, daughter in law Trisha Benson White and a beautiful granddaughter Railey Frances White, born 11/17/2007, who loved her PaPa very much and will tell you very quick, my PaPa is in heaven and in my heart. I am retired from the East Alabama Mental Health Center in Opelika, AL.
I have been doing research on our families for about 20 years. Have published booklets on the Whatley Family, Brantley Family, May Family and White Family. Met many new cousins, including Norma Whatley Parker, Dunwoody, GA, and Maureen McNair, Nuevo, Calif, both are neices of my grandmother, Minnie Whatley May, through the Simeon Whatley line.
