I began to have an interest in genealogy many years ago when my great uncle sent me a family history for his brothers and sisters. My mother had done some genealogy before her death in 2003, mostly from Iowa. I continued what she did not complete. My father gave me some information on his family and I have been researching for the most part his family from the beginning of what he told me. Two of my fathers grandparents were from Italy, a grandfather from England, and a grandmother who was born in Elmira, New York, whose parents were from Ireland.
