Bio

I got hooked on genealogy back in 1980 when I started a teaching job in Alexandria, VA. The school secretary there, who became a dear friend, had "the bug" as she always said. She and I would go down to the National Archives in DC on a Saturday and scroll through censuses for hours until we could hardly see anymore, looking for relatives! When my husband and I moved to Africa in 1984 my research came to a stop (but not before we stopped in Germany on the way over to find the family homestead!!) until someone recently introduced me to genealogy on line!! So I'm back in the saddle, and LOVING "Find a Grave"!
