Fortney requests
I uploaded photos for the two Fortneys you requested but I don't know how to make the request show that its done so I "unclaimed" them! Let me know if there's anything else I can help with!

Cheryl, you're welcome. Don't worry about it I know how hectic life is and sometimes things slip through the cracks.

You're welcome Cheryl. I hope you don't mind me transferring Clifford to you but I thought since you made a photo request you might be family. Happy Thanksgiving

Thank you for your kind words - they are appreciated. We were fortunate enough to be in Italy last year and took the opportunity to visit the cemetery and photograph the headstones. It was an honor and very moving to stand at the graves of so many brave men.

Mount Royal Cemetery Photo Request
Mount Royal Cemetery has 165 acres. The burial plot location must be supplied so a volunteer can go take the photo.

You can get this free information by filling the form here: www.mountroyalcem.com/index.php/en/our-services/genealogy-menu.html and in the "Desired Service" field, select "Burial Location (free)" and enter the information.

If the Genealogy page was not helpful then email your request to genealogy@mountroyalcem.com

The cemetery will email you the location (3-10 working days).

Have the memorial updated with the plot number.

You will have made it possible for the photo to be taken.

DeWitt Warner #45407905
I searched for DeWitt Warner's headstone using cemetery records that show the headstone locations. The only Warner in this section of New North Cemetery is a headstone for a Martha Warner(memorial#45407898). It appears that several headstones near Martha's are missing.

RE: Laura Woolery photo request.
Oh, that certainly explains that mystery! Should I change the name on her memorial to Sackett? With a note in the bio section? Or should I leave it as Woolery?

Laura Woolery photo request.
Hello! I went out on the weekend to get photos, and found that the name on her headstone is Sackett, sharing the headstone with Byron Sackett. The cemetery record, and the Calif Death index, have her name as Woolery. Do you know anything about the Sackett surname, and her relationship to Byron?

Best regards,

B.J.
