Will do obit look-ups locally, just ask. Also my photos are public domain, and I am always willing to transfer unless related to me!
I also want to make clear my purpose on this site is to provide photos and to try and provide as much information as possible on memorials. I have been a little road blocked in my own genealogical research so this has become a hobby of mine, with the local Fulton/Clinton cemeteries. Numbers are not a goal of mine, and collecting memorials is not a priority as much as having complete accurate information on every memorial.
Have a wonderful day :-)

Thank you for catching the mistake of Jarvis Jackson's parents. They couldn't have been his parents. I corrected it.

Thank you for the transfer! I have been unsuccessful in finding the exact date. As I recall she died in Europe while on vacation.

Would it be possible to transfer ownership to me? I have fond memories of Jeannette. I have never been to Iowa... I had the chance to visit her once, but unfortunately I could not go at that time. Jeannette was a new found cousin of mine. We share family roots to New Hampshire and Maine. She came up to visit me in Massachusetts on a road trip with her nephew in the mid-1970s. By any chance would you be able to locate her obituary? I recall she was active till the day she died while traveling overseas. Kind regards, Ellen

I am sorry I probably was too rambling. George and Jennie were VanderPloeg. Jennie's sister Ann Dyk was married to Luitje Huizenga (Louis Houzenga). George name was Jitze van der Ploeg in the Netherlands, I am not sure how they made George out that, but the birth dates match, the spouse matches and so do their two children Neeltje (Nellie) and Jan (John) in the 1920 census.
Just a note, I am putting everything on Wiki Tree online, but as I have 115290 names in my data base I don't think I will live long enough to get it done. It takes longer because I put as much proof as I can find on the side. By the way do you have any information on Jennie's children (Neeltje-Nellie, born on May 26, 1908 and Jan-John born on August 1, 1909. Also do you know where Jennie died?

Thanks A.J. George's wife Jennie is related to me through her father's side, his mother was a Renkema and that is my maiden name. I had a hard time finding out what happened to them. My accident I found the Houzenga's which was Huizenga in the Netherlands and that is what I am working on now. I am trying to find out what happened to Jennie and Ann's Mother. The whole family disappeared from Groningen after the father died, so I am thinking her mother Everdina Schipma Dijk, immigrated to the USA. I cannot find a death record for her, but I see Shipma's also in the Fulton area, the the name could have been changed and I don't know if she got remarried. I am still trying to find Pieterdina Dijk, Rensina Dijk, Albertje Dijk, Jan Dijk. I am sure all the names are changed so I will keep working on it. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated. I live in Michigan by the way.
