Bio

I became interested in genealogy more than 40 years ago. My mother is a genealogist and I credit her with inspiring me to research my husband's family history. After a 28-year hiatus, I renewed my interest in researching the Halter, Hauerwas, Zierer, Evers, Hollman, & Kobus families (and associated families) who immigrated primarily from France & Germany, migrated from NY, MN, WI, PA, & OH and eventually settled in northwest AL and south/southeast TN.

I create memorials for my side of the family (Lyle, Sudduth, Jefcoat [Jeffcoat], Marler & associated families) with the help of my mother and create them for my husband's side of the family as well.

I do not mind flowers/notes posted on the memorials I have created; however, I have very personal reasons for what I do or do not post on the memorials I've created. I ask that you not add photographs or obituaries without my permission.
