Bio

I have been a FAG member for a little over 12 years. I appreciate fellow Find a Grave members that fulfill my requests for photos all over the Country.
I have encountered many wonderful people through the years. I would like to Thank Kathryn Maxwell in Keokuk, Iowa who literally photographed about 1/3 of the Cemetery for me of family members!
I will only be taking photos for people I have worked with in the past. I spend hours preparing lists, dropping them off to Cemetery offices, then driving back and spend hours walking the Cemeteries to photograph the stones, fill in the burial plot information that was not provided and upload the photos to FAG and never receive a response or simple Thank you. If you have a photo request you should say more than photo? It would also be helpful to provide a little information rather than expecting the Volunteer to do all of the research for you. It is after all a courtesy of a Volunteer.
FAG was not created because someone that lives in a neighboring County does not want to make a 20 minute drive but rather for people that live out of State and great distances that would cherish a photo of a relatives resting place and cannot drive across Country to take the photo.
Peace out!
