|Barbara Ann Homrighaus||RE: William Patzholdt headstone|
His parents are William 1838-1917 Paetzoldt (also spelled Paltzholtz and Patezold) and Dora b 1851.
William Paetzoldt is buried in Mapleton, MN and I'm trying to locate his headstone. I don't know when his first wife Dora died. William remarried in 1872 to Mathilde Graff and I don't yet have birth or death dates for her. Mathilde passed away sometime after 1893.

Thank you Steve for posting the three photos for William Patzholdt.
Are you researching his genealogy as a descendant by any chance?
|Bryan Anderson||Carl R. Melquist|
I am researching my paternal grandfather's army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to documentation, Carl R. Melquist was also a member of this unit.
I'm not positive where I'm headed with my project, but I want to eventually publish something. Shold I do so, may I have permission to use your photograph of the gravestone of Carl R. Melquist (Find A Grave Memorial# 56812619)?

Thank you Sir, much appreciated!

Thank you for updating the b. & d. locations submitted for Bess ...
I've re-submitted the name updates for her, because (and I'm guessing here), that since the stone shows her as "Bess", you weren't comfortable changing this. In fact, Bess was a nickname. Her real 1st name was "Bessie", as shown on her SS application, the 1880, 1910, 1920, 1930 & 1940 censuses, the 1895 & 1905 State censuses, her marriage record and both the SS & Minnesota death index's ... also, I would have sworn that her memorial had shown the burial plot was owned by "Bessie Engstrand", but that seems to be gone now. I guess I could have seen that somewhere else, but I can't imagine where?
If you would prefer, I'd be happy to take over the management and do the updates, along with adding some of these sources?
Thank you for your time and I apologize if I've misunderstood.

I want to thank you for all of the work you do for Find a Grave.
Hilda is my grandmother and I just found her obituary and would like to add it to her page. Can you do that? If you can how do you want me to get the information to you?
