During the past fifteen years I have been researching the families of both my husband and myself. In addition to the research using various libraries, archives and historical museums. We have visited the cemeteries in several states where our family members are , primarily Tennessee, Missouri, Oklahoma and Kansas. We also have family from Ohio, Colorado, Kentucky, Texas, Virginia, and North Carolina.

The visits have been fascinating, educational and surprisingly a comfort. When the stories of the people can be added to the usual data it is a much more enriching experience. So many of the old cemeteries are disappearing and it's so important that the information they hold be recorded for the future.
