Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing my families genealogy for over 20 years and came upon this site a few years back. It has been a great help in my searches for connecting to my past history. I really enjoy helping others in finding their past history and I hope the pictures and memorials I add help others in their searches.

If possible "Please" help out your photo volunteers by obtaining the plot information from the cemetery and adding it to your request. Also if you remark that you are requesting both spouses, please submit a seperate request for each spouse. Remember you are asking the volunteers to help you on their own time. Making it easier on them means they spend less time trying to gather/research the data in trying to find the grave locations, which in turn means they can get to the cemetery to full fill your requests that much quicker.

As many of us are related to the same surnames, please only request direct line ancestors for transfers as are in the Find A Grave Guidelines. This means: Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be YOUR siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I will gladly add any information provided via the suggestion tool. Sorry folks, but family always comes first.
If I have accidentally added a duplicate record please let me know and I will promptly remove it.
Oh and 1 more small thing.

Headstone Photo Robinson
I just noticed that on the VA Record it had
a mistake and only put his name as "Immy"
. They left out the "J". So maybe his headstone
also only as it as "IMMY" Lee Robinson Sr.
I had added the J when I ask them to post the
record. It originally was like this:
-------------
U.S. Veterans Gravesites, ca.1775-2006
Name: Immy Lee Sr Robinson
Service Info.: US ARMY KOREA
Birth Date: 10 Feb 1935
Death Date: 23 Nov 1984
Service Start Date: 15 Mar 1954
Interment Date: 30 Nov 1984
Cemetery: Riverside National Cemetery
Cemetery Address: 22495 Van Buren Boulevard Riverside, CA 92518
Buried At: Section 12a Site 447
-----------
And I checked the National Grave locator and
it also has it listed as Immy which is wrong.
Sorry for this trouble.
Thanks again,
Charlene

Headstone Photo Robinson
I really appreciate you taking the time to
get this photo but it is the wrong headstone.
Birth/death dates are totally different and
the name is spelled differently(Jimmy/Jimmie).
Also they were in different wars.

I don't know if the VA messed up but....hmmmm.

The Veterans record that I had them post coincides
with the plot# and section:

U.S. Veterans Gravesites, ca.1775-2006
Name: Jimmy Lee Sr Robinson
Service Info.: US ARMY KOREA
Birth Date: 10 Feb 1935
Death Date: 23 Nov 1984
Service Start Date: 15 Mar 1954
Interment Date: 30 Nov 1984
Cemetery: Riverside National Cemetery
Cemetery Address: 22495 Van Buren Boulevard Riverside, CA 92518
Buried At: Section 12a Site 447

Julia McHugh Headstone Photo
Hey,
I'm very thankful for your help with photos out at Riverside Nalt Cemetery. I have a feeling it's a time consuming place. When I made my requests, I didn't put plot numbers on each one because they were on the Memorials.
Anyway, You have put the wrong person's headstone on Julia McHugh's Memorial, ie James Lawrence McHugh (1927-2000) They are in no way related. Just the same, I put up a new request for James so you could transfer the request from Julia to James McHugh if you'd be so kind.
It is Julia (1927-2015) & Joseph Aloysius McHugh (1924-2000) who are married. I put up new requests for them.
Thanks so much,
Jeanne

Hello CRob - Thank you so much for granting my request of a photo for this person. I see that he was a distinguished war hero. That makes seeing his gravestone that much more special. He is my cousin.
I really appreciate your kindness in doing this for me and other family members of his.
Sincerely, Janet Mercurio

More thanks!
I can't believe how quickly my request was filled. This means a lot to his family; none of us live nearby anymore. We appreciate your kindness! You are the best!
