Bio
Like many folks who are drawn into family history endeavors, I was first intrigued by genealogy when my mother gave me a copy of an old family history her father had compiled. Granddaddy ended his family history manuscript with an invitation for future generations to continue his attempts to find the missing links that had stumped him.
I was 15 years old, and I felt I'd been handed a mission by a sweet and dear man I had never had the opportunity to know, but whose life experiences, stories and wit I had been hearing about all my life. I'm grateful for the challenge and passion for genealogy that I inherited, because genealogy has become a treasure to me.
