I'm glad I could help you with the picture. If you need any other picture please let me know. I have all of the cemeteries here in Charleston photographed.

RE: Philip Stanton Strout (1908-1963)
Hi, ☺

I've been doing burial compilations for the newer part of Pleasant Hill Cemetery since April of last year, that's how I came into this project. Almost 900 gravestones in this cemetery alone and one more visit and I'll be finished, then I'm moving onto Old Pleasant Hill Cemetery, across the street. I assure you, this is true. I've taken pictures of the sign and posted it on the cemetery page. ☺

Not very long ago another person on Find A Grave spoke with me explaining how she was trying to get the cemetery name changed because she was also aware that only a few years ago probably they changed/replaced the cemetery sign to "Old Pleasant Hill Cemetery." I'm going to try to get it corrected somehow.

Yes, the older picture you're talking about on Phillip's memorial page is what is now Old Pleasant Hill Cemetery, but the name is yet to be changed on Find A Grave. I'm just wondering if you could edit the burial to the other cemetery across the street, also by the same name except it's simply Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The newer part.

Hi, ☺

There's been a common mixup over the years between these two cemeteries across the street from each other. Pleasant Hill Cemetery has been changed to OLD Pleasant Hill Cemetery to help with the confusion. I was wondering if you could change the burial place to Pleasant Hill Cemetery, which is the newer part across the street. If you don't know how to do this, I could do it for you. Or if you're family, I will transfer it right back to you afterwards.

May I please have your permission to use your beautiful picture of Abilena Gilbert Saxgton's tombstone on my Ancestry account and also in my website? She is my 6th Great Grandmother.
