I have two maiden names my biological and my step Dads while growing up in his home from age 4 years to 17 years old.|
I love doing family research, I have been collecting information on and off since I joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and started searching for my biological Father whom I hadn't seen since I was 3 years old. I found him when I was about 27 years old. Now I can hardly stop doing research. See my virtual cemeteries.
I will share what I have. You have my permission to copy pictures I add to this website for your family files.
Please email me with any questions or help.

I added Mary A. Swick Guest to Phillipsburg Cemetery after pulling her obituary today. The records I have for Phillipsburg were reconstructed records and evidently she is one of the ones who did not make it on the list I received originally. Maybe due to being lost or destroyed but according to her obituary she was buried there.
Her obituary lists she was a Richards based on the fact, she had two brothers, David & Morris Richards.
I added the obit to her memorial, 181072782.

I rechecked the Phillipsburg Cemetery records which list three plots purchased by Swick & Mrs. Swick in O1-9W. One plot was for George W. Guest who died 2.28.1944 in Phillipsburg, who has no gravestone. Then James Swick 1851-1907 and Mary Ann Swick 1922-1938 is listed, no other Swicks in the plot.
I did check the other two sides of the four sided stone and only James and Mary are engraved on the stone, no one else. The other two sides were blank.
I also looked at the Easton Library obituary listings and there is a listing for Mary Ann Swick who died in December of 1938 but she would be the one on the stone I believe not his wife who died in 1938. No other Mary Swick's were listed in the obituary list in 1938.
I can pull the obituary when I go there the next time but I find it strange both the Mary on the stone and his wife, Mary died in 1938. Maybe an error in the inscription on the stone. I will let you know but I will not be making any more memorials until I can sort this out and verify that anybody else is buried there too.

You are welcome for the photos.
I also removed Mary Anne as his wife. I generally do not link anyone who is not a relative unless I can find documentation, census records, etc. I believe someone must have sent an edit to link them but I agree I do not believe she is his wife based on her age.
There are no other names on the two other sides of the gravestone, just James and Mary on opposite sides as I did check.
