|Bio and Links|
I always take interest in any information posted to my memorials. If you have anything to add (links, photos, etc) I would love to know about it. If you have a quick second to send a message to let me know, that would be great. I am not picky about how I receive messages-whatever is easier for you. I would just appreciate getting one.|
I am a very big optimist when it comes to the memorials I have created being found by their relatives or by someone who has a special interest in them. I am happy to transfer any memorial, as long as it is not my family. But please do not ask for a transfer if you do not plan to work with the memorial. There is really no point in the transfer if you do not plan to do anything with it. I am ALWAYS happy and quick to add requested information. However, I do insist that the information be accurate and sourced. I know a lot of people get upset when information that is not sourced in declined, but it is only because many memorial creators want only facts posted, not guesses.
I encourage personal photos!!! But please do not take up the photo space with something that can be added to the bio. Examples are obituaries, death certificates and grave photos similar to ones already posted. Please keep in mind that only 5 photos can be added to a memorial without sponsorship. If you roam around cemeteries taking random grave pictures, like me, it is likely to happen that you will take many pictures of graves already posted. This happens to me all the time. Please do not post the picture simply because you have it. If a date has been added, or the marker has been cleaned, or your pictures shows information better, then it is OK to post.
Please be considerate when taking up photo space.
If you take up space with images other than grave or personal photos and that space is needed, I will ask you to delete the image, and if you refuse, I will ask F.A.G to delete it.
Please, Please...transcribe obituaries and death certificates and send it to me to post in the bio. I am very happy to do that!!
To cemetery lurkers (like me):
**Please, when you can, take a minute to clean off grave markers covered in dirt or grass so that they are not buried forever:-)

|Debra Roberts||RE: Purple Heart|
you can log onto www.thepurpleheart.com and click the enroll tab. When talking to one the workers there, I was told they need proof of receipt of the Purple Heart. There may be a number stamped on the back of the medal which would be proof. The Hall of Honor, as it is called, has pictures of recipients along with a back story, when available. It is hard to imagine the hard life these men and women lived while at war. I've read up a little on Merrill's Marauders's and I never knew Roy endured through that. Thank you so much for all the family info you have shared. Also I added a pic to my Dad's page, Bobby, that your Mom may enjoy. It is Grandad with his 3 sons. I love it!
|Debra Roberts||RE: Roberts|
I am so sorry for not replying sooner. I'm new to this and actually just saw these messages. I would be happy to share photos of my Grandparents. I believe I met your mother when I was a child on one of our visits to NC. She may have been living with Grandma Ross at the time. I just remember there being train tracks directly behind the house.
I would like to ask you if you have any more info on Uncle Roy's Purple Heart. There is a museum near me for Purple Heart Recipients. I visited there recently and there is not a record of Roy. They rely totally on the public sharing the information of the recipients. I have the registration form and would like to send them to you so his story can be added to the museum. They are very happy to receive any information they can.

Dear Mr. Stephens,

|2 Chronicles 7:14||Trina|
P.S. I am no longer in NC (live in Texas now) so can't get out to the cemetery when I see friends have passed. Thank you again. I will pass this on her mother as soon as she gets on and we get her set up.
|2 Chronicles 7:14||RE: Trina|
I will talk to her mother about it. She is older and doesn't get on Facebook too often but I will leave her a message. Her husband is beside her. Thank you. God bless.

Could you please transfer Trina's memorial to me. I am helping her mother set up an account so she can have it. Thank you. God bless.

|mavis beard||thomas h jordan grave listing|
Hi, I noticed on your listing for Thomas H Jordan Jr's grave you were able to add "son of Thomas H Jordan and Nanny Davis. How were you able to do that, can I add a message like that to Thomas Sr.,s grave record. I know who his parents were, but can't do it as a link since I can't find their graves. thanks for any help. Can't say for sure, but judging when I took the photo, I would say Section 11 or 12. I photographed those once this past summer. I have tried to go section by section. Mr. Curney, the mgr. at the cemetery, is very picky. You have to call ahead to request permission to photograph there which I have been careful to do!

I added pictures for Irene today. I also added her husband because he was not added to the cemetery. If you would like me to transfer him to you, just let me know.
