I am married I have three children and one grandchild:I am the baby girl of eight children born to Ellis and Maxine Slavens Woods. While growing up family history was never spoken about. I never had the privilege of knowing my grandparents so it made me have a desire to know where I came from. My research started my senior year of high school when a secretary in the school gave me four family group sheet telling me to document as much history from family members as possible. I still have those pages after all these years. One of my main goals at the time was to find family who might have a picture of my grandfather James Jarrett Woods. I still have not found a picture but the many lines that I have connected and the family and distant cousins I have meet along the way has been priceless. I would like to thank those who have been so gracious to help me along my journey. ----------------|

My 2nd husband's lineage is Montgomery, Chandler and Smith ================
Remember.........That which you share, multiplies and divides. That which you withhold, diminishes and dies. W. Clement Stone-----------
Do your best to share your time, your knowledge, your pictures, your entries. Hoarding names helps no one and they remain basically a naked name with hopefully some part of a date - nothing else ____________
There are many other names that I have researched and connected on FAG that are limbs off of my main line. All are family to me. -----
Romans 2:1-3 You, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. Now we know that God's judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. 3 So when you, a mere man, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God's judgment?===============

Life has it's ups and downs, sometimes happiness and sometimes sorrow, but we must not ever forget the people who have gone before us. Their trails were more difficult and their losses many, but with out their efforts and struggles, you and I wouldn't be here.============
Your tombstone stands among the rest;neglected and aloneThe name and date are chiseled outon polished, marbled stoneIt reaches out to all who careIt is too late to mournYou did not know that I'd existYou died and I was born.Yet each of us are cells of youin flesh, in blood, in bone.Our blood contracts and beats a pulseentirely not our own.Dear Ancestor, the place you filledone hundred years agoSpreads out among the ones you leftwho would have loved you so.I wonder if you lived and loved,I wonder if you knewThat someday I would find this spot,and come to visit you. |Beverly Lamb Shenold||thanks|
Thank you so much for making the obituary for Harold Ballinger available to me. I have added it to his memorial page. Beverly
I prefer to link the parents with the memorial where a person is buried, but unless the man will delete the link to the parents my hands are tied. The administrator told me quite some time ago that they can not be both linked, only one is permitted and since the cenotaph is linked to the parents, I cannot link the parents. Sorry!

Thank you for your edits for James Turney and Astella Turney. If you are interested in managing these memorials, just let me know, and I can transfer them to you.
This family and other relatives of the same clan are my wife's people from California. I add whatever they send me to findagrave. My wife's brother, William Simpson, sent me the information, and probably the picture on the memorial.

|Goddess||Isaac and Mary Bolinger|
Thank you for the additional information on both Isaac and Mary. It is appreciated.
I did not know that Mary had remarried so that is a new line for me to research.

|Melody OC||RE: William Henry Bolinger|
You are so welcome! I enjoy what I do!
If you need other photos, please just email me a list of names (with plot locations from the cemetery office ... they will be happy to share the info with you).
|Frances Allen Titsworth||Mary E Gunter Nixon Cemetery|
Well, I think this is Martha's mother possibly. Mary was born about 1820 and Martha was born about 1845 and married in 1867. I've been looking on Ancestry and I think Mary was married to John Larkin Gunter. On the 1860 census, it says they had a daughter Martha("J"?) Gunter age 4. So I am not real positive that this is even the same Martha who married William.
