If you have a better picture than I do, feel free to add it and I will delete mine. Also, if you have any photographs that you would like to add, or any corrections to be made, I welcome them! Even though the transcripts that I have been adding have been in Canada, I live in California so can't help take any pictures or visit these locations. I will gladly do transfers, unless it is someone that I am closely related to. As of Fall 2015 I am not going to be as active on this site as I once was. Even though I enjoy genealogy, I have burned out, but am still glad to help whenever I can.

RE: Holt Again
The Ellenor Newton stone is in Glen Allan Union Cemetery (NOT the old Anglican cemetery near Glen Allen, and not near Linwood Ontario). Photo GPS location matches that cemetery. Note also the background of the BillionGraves photo, which does not match the background in the wider photos at the Old Anglican cemetery. "Linwood" is not in Glen Allan Union Cemetery's name on any of the other cemetery sites.
Confusingly, the Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid http://ocfa.islandnet.com/ocfa-search.php lists Ellenor and her husband at both Glen Allan cemeteries, but the photos at BillionGraves and CanadaGenWeb make it clear that they themselves are buried at the Union Cemetery, and just are named as parents of their children, Thomas G., Samuel R. & Wiliam, buried in the old Anglican cemetery.
Hope this helps!

Are we related
Ms. Darby my name is Toni Lemer and I have noticed you are the creator for a lot of my family's page. I was wondering are we related? Howard McCauley and Ruth McCauley are my grandparents.

Thank You

RE: Edit Request
What edit request are you referring to?

I've been working on so many fronts at the same time I'm getting a little muddled. I could have made a mistake even though I try to be very careful.

We'll work it through.

RE: Blythe Headstone Picture
I have no idea why it is horizontal. All my pics loaded that way. If you click on it, it goes vertical.
I recently returned from a trip in France and Belgium on a Canadian Battlefields tour and this one of the graves I randomly took a pic of.
Glad it was one that someone was looking for. Is he a relative of yours?
