My name is Cordelia Kay Conner Newson Fischer. I was born in Southern California March 5, 1939. My parents were Lawrence J. Conner and my mother was Agnes Symonds. My father was born in Waynesville, Polaski Co., MO and my mother Ossawatomie, Miami Co., KS. My husband is Henry H. (Newson) Fischer and we were married in 1956 and have four children. I got into genealogy in 1989. I wanted to look up my many relatives in MO and KS. I found my first Patriot Thomas Yates and 2nd Patriot William Ragsdale back to the Revolutionary War and I became a member of the Katuktu Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. I have served as 2nd Vice Regent, Flag Chairman and I am currently Project Patriot Chairman and proud to be serving in this capacity. I am a grandmother and great grandmother and do manage to play a little golf.
