William H Fain
Hello, I am a DNA match to Lealer Clarissa Ralston's descenants. I am still working on it. The below paragraph was placed on her DNA circle along with her photo. I believe that William H. Fain was not the son of John Madison Thomas at all. As you can see below, she also had a daughter that was not his or J. F. McCay's. If you have any information that would be great.

"When Lealer Clarissa Ralston was born on September 30, 1862, in Cartecay, Georgia, her father, Samuel, was 37, and her mother, Margaret, was 32. She married John Frances McCay and they had one daughter together. She then married John Madison Thomas and they had 11 children together. She also had one son and one daughter from another relationship. She died on March 1, 1934, in Sugar Creek, Georgia, at the age of 71, and was buried in Blue Ridge, Georgia."

Thank you for all the information on her in Atoka Cemetery. I have made all the changes as requested. However, in the future, please use the new edit system. It is much faster and more accurate memorial has to do is to either accept or reject any requested changes. About the only change that cannot be made by the new edit system is in the bio section. Thanks!

Kathleen Davis Smith
I'm curious as to whether or not Kathleen 107675632 was married to Hulan W. Smith, son of Rasler William Smith and Pearl Smith Megginson.

If Hulan and H. W. Happy Smith are one and the same person, I would like to link H. W. 'Happy' Smith to his parents.

(The newspaper should state that she was a Covington, Tipton County, Tennessee native.)

Source: Amarillo Daily News 11 May 1974
Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Megginson, 94, who died Wednesday at Northwest Texas Hospital will be 4 p.m. today ar Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with Curtis Camp, Bell Avenue Church of Christ pastor, officiating.
Mrs. Megginson of the Bivins Memorial Nursing Home, was a Covington County, Tenn., native and a member of the Bell Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Emmett C. Smith, who resides southwest of Amarillo, and H.W. Smith of Odessa; a grandchild and two great grandchildren.
