Myself: Lived in Bevier, Mo. since birth.

High School: Bevier High School 4 yrs.
NMSU (name changed later to Truman
State - 2 yrs.
Occupation: Since 1973 with Burlington Northern R.R. which merged with Santa Fe R.R. to form BNSF Railway

One thing that has really struck me when I started checking the family tree is how so many different individuals down through the years from so many parts of the country and from other countries can meet, marry, have children and end up with one single individual.

Any photos i may post here at Find A Grave, I consider them to be available for anyone to use in what manner they wish (to copy, download, or use on their memorial pages, personal family trees,to share, etc.)

The only thing I ask is that it not be for profit but rather for helping each other in your search for family.

I would be glad to transfer management of any memorials I have posted if anyone has a relationship or a closer relationship than what I have, just ask.

Annie Wooten in Navajo (OK)
Hi Norman,
I walked the cemetery this afternoon and didn't find a stone. But on further research I discovered that there are two memorial pages for Annie Wooten. She was buried under her final name "Annie Evans Glasscock" in the Navajo Cemetery. There is already a photo of her stone on that memorial page along with a printed obituary. That page is : https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=111308340 . I hope this helps out

RE: William Lockwood Howard & Parents
Norman,
Thank you so very much for the time you took in getting and posting the picture of Deborah Howard's gravestone and setting up her memorial #177879892.

I am thrilled to find this. I wish everyone involved in our "hunts" were as kind and helpful as you are. Believe me, if I can help in any way just ask. I have many relatives from Missouri but most went "west", California, Oregon and Washington, so my access to the old cemeteries is nil.

Many thanks again for setting up her memorial and taking the time to go out and get the picture of the stone and posting it!!!

Gratefully,
Sherry

Re Nancy Speer Romjue
I have read both of your e-mails about Nancy Speer but am holding up on the edits for now.
This is really a stickler as we have several Nancy Speer Romjues one married to the father and the other to the son but they are not the same person.
The J.H. Romjues were in Scotland county until near or at the time of Nancy's death. You will note the inscription on both stones is the same. Then about 1857/8 the family moved to Macon county.
I am thinking perhaps the stone in Macon county is a cenotaph. Inscriptions are the same. However I don't see how I can link both sites to the same husband.

D McDuffee
Nice Photos Norman! Thanks for going up to love lake for me. How did Shiloh look? Did you happen to take any other McDuffee headstone photos while you were there?

Martha Roberts
Norman, here is that 3rd Martha Roberts memorial I mentioned. Is this one of the cemeteries across the road?

https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Roberts&GSiman=1&GScty=75823&GRid=62748743&

As you grew up in Bevier, may I ask if you knew the Roberts family and if there are still any descendents there?

RE: Martha E. (Jones) Roberts Burial Location
Thanks, Norman. Layla says she is/has delete(d) her memorial in the other cemetery. She explained to me that she personally took her photo also, but that the two cemeteries run into each other, and it impossible to know which of the two cemeteries several of the graves are actually in. I am guessing there is no fence or driveway where one starts and the other ends. I will send you a link to what was the 3rd memorial. Maybe you can help me figure that out too! Lastly, I appreciate the transfer.

RE: Samuel Grover Dennis - Woodlawn Cemetery - Macon, Mo.
Yes, I took that picture at Woodlawn Cemetery in Macon, Macon County, Missouri. I was taking several pictures that day and have uploaded them to be shown in the cemetery I took them. Have no idea anything about him.
