Born 15 March 1958 to Merrill and Melva Alice Hill in Brigham City, Utah. Married Donnette Elizabeth Straub 26 April 1980 in the Salt Lake Temple. Served LDS mission to the state of Michigan from 1977 to 1979. After graduation from Bear River High School I enter basic training at Fort Dix, New Jersey, 7 June 1976, and served until my retirement in September of 2010. I served in the Utah National Guard until 2003 and in the United States Army Reserves until 2 September 2010. I retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. I have three children and five grandchildren.
