Bethel and Nancy Powers
Thank you for fixing those names for me and I guess I could take the Powers family info. I have been scrolling through and checking all theose in my Powers Martin line just to make sure all facts are correct.
I am not sure exactly how to correct but I am sure you can tell me and I can certainly learn.

Again thank you for correcting my Uncle Bill and Aunt Mae Powers for me .

Sir
On the gravestone of William and Mae Powers in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Atchison County Kansas the relationship is wrong. My Aunt Mae was a sister to my Uncle Bill. He was a batchlor all his life and she was his sister. She was never married and brother and sister lived together all of their lives.
On the relationships of Bethel and Nancy Powers in the same cemetery Mae Powers should be listed as one of their children,

Could this be fixed.

Thank you,
Bennea Wade

RE: Sarah Frances Owens Hays
It seems to me that the Andrew Hays who married Serilda Owens in 1886 was probably the same Andrew who married Ann about 1900 and that his parents were Alexander and Mary Hays.

Also concerning:
William Harrison Owens 23
married
Annie Mampkin 3 Dec 1888

Sarah Frances Owens Hays
I am interested in the Owens line. The parents of Sarah Frances are Amos Owens and Jemima Todd. It seems that Amos died between 1875 and 1880 and I believe Jemima died 19 Feb 1903 and is buried in the Sumner cemetery.
Mrs Jennia Owen
Birth: unknown, USA
Death: Feb. 19, 1903 Kansas, USA
Burial: Sumner Cemetery, Atchison, Atchison County, Kansas, USA Plot: No Stone

I believe that Amos is the son of John (Leatheerwood) Owens who died in Indiana in 1845. Perry Owens is John's brother.

I have 5 children for Amos and Jemima but in the 1900 census it lists 8 born and 3 living.
Do you know what became of Martha J., James F., William H. and Serilda J.?

The 1885 census of Atchison County, Kansas
lists:
Hays, Frank A. 49

, Sarah F. 34

, Amos A. 8

, Mary J. 6

Owens, James F. 24

, Wm H. 20

, Sarilda J. 17

, Jamima A. 54 Ky Mo

This is the last that I can find for James, William, and Sarilda.
