"Thank You for the Valleys"
Life can't be all bridges without any streams.
Life can't be all victories without any dreams.
Life's not like a dungeon without an open door.
Thank You for the valleys I walked thru before.

Life can't be all sunshine or the flowers would die.
Rivers would be deserts all barren and dry.
Life can't be all blessing or there'd be no need to pray.
Thank You for the valley I walked thru today.

Life can't be all rainbows without any rain.
Life can't be all peaceful without any pain.
Life can't be all joyfilled or there'd be no way to grow.
Thank You for the valleys I've got yet to go.

Life is not a pathway all winding and steep.
Plunging into canyons, so rugged and deep.
Life's not like a tempest without an anchor hold.
Thank You for Your Valleys that try us like gold.

Thank You for every hill I climbed;
For every time that the sun doesn't shine.
Thank You for every loney night I prayed
Till I knew that things would be alright.
Thank You for the Valleys I walked thru today.
