Bio
I only had one grandmother alive in growing up. In 1957 my teacher, Mrs Ball told us the story of her family in 1890 coming to Texas in a covered wagon and gave us all the details about thier trip.
This made me want to know who my family was and what their life was like. But due to work shedule and raising a family of my own, it was not to be until 1996 when I started work on my genealogy.
Genealogy for me is taking a name, adding the information you find and in this way you are giving the name a life and helping others find the information they are seeking about their ancestors.
My friend, John William Birch of England says what he doing is putting flesh on bones.
