You're very welcome!!
|Gregory Hancks||RE: Erastus King|
I would be happy to transfer this memorial to you. The gravestone is one of the most legible in the cemetery, which is remarkable considering its age. I'm not sure of the last digit of the birth year, however, so you may wish to confirm that. Because we share Erastus's grandfather as our gggg-gf (Jesse Evans), you might like to check out https://chribbs.wordpress.com which describes his extraordinary life. The website includes some information about George and Nancy Evans King, as well, particularly regarding disputes over Jesse Evans's estate.

I recently visited this cemetery to photograph all of the currently visible markers and have posted photos of all those that are identifiable. I was unable to identify any marker for Jesse King, who is the subject of your photo request.

You're welcome. I notice that there are many, many Nesbits in that area. Will

I am pleased to transfer your relatives memorial to you with all kindest wishes. Dave Cheesman

My pleasure. I added the GPS coordinates in the caption of the grave photo. If you type them into Google Maps it will pinpoint the location of the grave in Evergreen Cemetery. Take care.

Sorry about the empty message before.
I noticed you added the tombstone photo for Jane Gould (#63512442), the wife of Samuel. You might want to add that photo to Samuel's memorial (#66617576) as well.
