I am entering records on my families and their extended families, as well as records from local cemeteries. My goal is to place records on-line to enable extended family members to find their relatives. If I have entered information on your family, please let me know & I will be happy to transfer them to you if you are a direct descendant, unless I am a direct descendant as well. I am delighted to hear from others who are related to my families.|

Hoping someone can add to our information on Elizabeth.
Also wondering about the location of this cemetery, as we are planning a trip to Owen County for genealogical purposes.
Thank you again,

|Patlin||Wishing to learn more about Elizabeth|
We are direct descendants of Elizabeth and needing to find further information on her, as we know very little.
There doesn't seem to be an address given for this burial plot and no other burials are listed for it. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thank you for any help you can offer,

|Virginia Brooks||RE Sarah Isabel Straughn Scudder #126044264|
In the memorial parents are listed as Jehu Vickery Straughn and Nancy McKimmey. This is incorrect.
Jehu and Nancy Straughn are the parents of Sarah Isabel Straughn married to John Fletcher Gray. Please correct your site to avoid misinformation.
Cherryl wrote me regarding the error. See below message.
RE: Straughn Sisters
I recently read over the info you sent me about Daniel William Gray and John Fletcher Gray marrying the Straughn sisters, Mary Hannah and Isabelle Sarah. I was looking for the Straughn parents and found John V. Straughn #35921503 and Nancy McKimmey Straughn #35921586 buried in Center Grove where Mary and Isabelle are buried. However, someone has linked them to Sarah Isabel Straughn Scudder #126044264 who married Leander Scudder #126044038 and is buried in Switzerland County, Indiana. I'm guessing this is an error. Since I have no personal info on these individuals perhaps you can straighten it out.
We would appreciate your efforts in correcting it. Thanks
Virginia A (Bright) Brooks

You may be correct, because I am sure I had to get all of my George family information from someone. I appreciate your dedication to helping me and many others in finding our family.

Thank you so much for all of the work you have done. You even had a couple of children for Martin Hoagland Daily and his first wife Julia that I didn't have. I would love it if you are from the lines, because the more the merrier when digging up bones.
Sally Tait Quinn
Direct descendant of Owen and Sarah Daily.
