Bio

I was born in Mt. Pleasant at Scott Town in an old two room house at the old Lawrenceburg Hywy and Enterprise Road. I recently visited the old homestead in 9/11. Its been empty for years and wonder why it hasnt been demolished. Graduated from Hay Long High in 62, joined and retired from the Navy in 84 and currently living in Fremont, CA. Recently started searching my grandfathers (George W. Holt)and Fathers (Eugene C Braden) ancestry.
Its amazing who you find out are your distant cousins and GGGrandparents.
12/11/10: I recently expanded my search to understand the relationships between: Thomasons, Holts, and Chapmans,if any. I made some interesting discoveries that I should have known, but my grandmother never discussed with me. I am also surpised to discover that a lot of the people I contact know each other and some are relatives. Thanks.
I want to thank Charlotte Colvett of Mt. Pleasant for her tremendous assistance in my research.
My belief: "If you did not laugh with me in life, do not cry for me in death"
