I started researching my family history (and that of my husband's) in 2006 after the passing of my father. I realized that our family history needed to be preserved. The stories that my parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles told me about our family throughout my childhood would one day be forgotten if I did not take time to write them down. Genealogy research has been very interesting and fulfilling to me. It is like hunting and finding the next correct piece of a large puzzle. My husband enjoys it as well.
