Did you get a chance to check out the pictures I sent to your email? I think it is better for you to have the Findagrave site. You have access to information. This is awesome. Bev

Jule Smith Butler
Thank you for placing the Memorial Page for Smith Butler. He was my husband's Aunt Bernice's first husband and the mother of his children. We appreciate your time and effort in honoring him with this memorial page. Blessing.

Yes, I am related (she is my great grandmother). She did have a brother name James Monroe Tribble (b. 27 Oct 1842 d. 14 Nov 1925).
Their parents were Francis Prewitt Tribble (b. 23 Jul 1811 d. 20 Nov 1892) and Amanda Elizabeth Marion Burdeshaw (b. 12 May 1824 SC d. 10 May 1885). Other children were; Luvena, Mary E., Martin or Major, Julie Ann, William Truitt, Francis Pruitt, Salina, Martha, John G,., and Joseph T.
I have more information if this is part of your line I'd love to compare notes. My E mail address is jenhuck95(at)

Thomas L. Newsom, Find A Grave Memorial# 66063001
Hello, Ms. Hagan.

Can you tell me whether or not Mr. Newsom served with the Army Air Corps during World War 2. I have the name, "Thomas L. Newsom, 2nd Lt., Pilot, on a copy of General Order No. 32, 20 January 45, with which he was awarded the Oak Leaf Cluster to the Air Medal.

If your Mr. Newsom is the same as "my" Mr. Newsom, I would sure like to learn more about him, as I am currently working on creating a data base for those who served with the Seventh Bombardment Group of the Army Air Corps.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Best Regards,

if I found a marker for her next to him I would have photographed it I am sure. I don't live there anymore so you would need to call the cemetery and ask, sorry I can't be of any help to you.

RE: David Madison Cook

Thanks for all your time and trouble and help. I finally got it straighten out in my mind. I was getting hung up on the Pullin name.

You are right, our David Cooks are probably not related and now I believe the Pullins are two different families.
