I enjoy adding memorials from the cemeteries I walk. However if the memorial is for a person who is still alive, I will only add very little information as our world is filled with people who attempt to use every method possible for identify theft.

Thank you for your patience.

Hi Melinda,
I have sent you many edits from this memorial to correct burial of Unknown to Double Pond Baptist, Barnwell County. You apparently have not received any of them so I am trying this method. I found Mr. Hartzog's grave at Double Pond and have posted pictures as proof. Would you please correct the burial? Thanks, Wimsang

RE: Harold Black #138710712
Still stands. Find A Grave is for dead people. That memorial will be sitting there for as long as Find A Grave exists. No one would be able to distinguish which Harold Black. Thanks again for such a friendly conversation. Wimsang

RE: Harold Black #138710712
So why is there a memorial for him? Isn't Find A Grave for the dead. Thanks, Wimsang
You don't have to reply. Just wondering. Not important.

It is still a duplicate with Nancy Gleaton's memorial 95610741. I wonder if Find A Grave has contacted Nancy. The easiest thing to do is to just delete your memorial then you will be out of picture completely and no more duplicate situation. Thanks Melinda, Wimsang

You requested to add Hunter as her maiden name. I can't verify that name and I see her listed as both a Peach and a Hunter on trees. I don't use Ancestry trees as a definitive source due to conflicts such as above. Please provide your source for the edit, otherwise, I'll decline it. If you are a direct descendant, that is usually enough for me to accept, but if you are a direct descendant, please explain the discrepancy and I'll put it on her memorial

Gravesite for Ida Mae Mitchell
In "Find A Grave Memorial# 81986978" (Ida Mae Wilder Mitchell) that you maintain, there is the statement "burial unknown."

In "Find A Grave Memorial# 125710632," for Ida Mae's husband, James Mitchell, there is a double headstone which includes Ida Mae Mitchell (with death date blank).

I assume some time after that headstone picture was taken, Ida Mae died and that she is now buried with her husband in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Is this something you can check? If so, please update your Find-a-Grave records to reflect this burial site.
