Bio

I have 30 years of experience in researching families and documenting graves. I love to help where I can.

ALL suggested edits MUST include a PRIMARY SOURCE for EACH change. Any suggestions that are not accompanied with a primary source because it will be flat out REJECTED. This is not a personal attack. It is how proper research is done.

What is a primary source? Primary Sources include vital records, church records, tax lists, mortgages, newspapers, letters, journals, court records, censuses, some published books. It is NOT a Family Tree (such as FamilySearch/Ancestry trees). A family tree is a database of collected data/images. Good trees have primary source documentation, but the tree itself is not the source.

Plz note: ALL sources, primary or otherwise, begin with an oral source. My Grandfather gave the long birth location for my Grandmother at her death. He didn't even have the right state! Her original birth certificate shows the proper location.

North Carolina: If you are related to any memorial I have created in NC, please send me a transfer request as I am no longer in the area.
