Bio and Links
Bio Photo A retired English teacher/Librarian, I have always been interested in genealogy, mesmerized by my Italian Nonna's stories of the old country, but actively I've only been doing family history for about 50 years. I love working on the three Indiana GenWeb pages (Fountain, Montgomery, Putnam) and enjoy findagrave, except I DO NOT like how people just tally up numbers vs really having an interest of the people they're grabbing. For instance, I put up several County Poor Farm people never found but I didn't know I needed to adopt the memorial so now, other people look like they did my work and make it hard for me to fix or add anything. Oh, well, wonderful place for my "Poor Folks" at least - gotta' take the good with the bad. Oh, speaking of 50 years, will be married to a wonderful man 50 years this coming Jan 13th. Love you, Jim boy

RE: PJ Flynn -- County Poor Farm Cemeter Montgomery County IN
I don't see any option on Flynn's memorial for deleting it. I think I lost all access to edit it when I transferred it to your account.

RE: Oliver Jackson & Anna DeBaun Copeland
Hi,
To Karen and anyone else who wants to use photos I have posted on FindAGrave - please do!
The collection comes from my research and communication with living Copeland relations - as well as from the estate of Ralph Copeland who died in 2011. His minister sent me a bunch of boxes of photos - I scanned and posted as many as I could identify - and then forwarded them to his estate recipient, who has also since passed on. I don't think his heirs will do anything with the photos - so feel free to get them from whereever I posted them - on FindAGrave, ancestry.com, and my blog - www.anamericangenealogy.blogspot.com

My goal is to share information. By posting on FindAgrave I have heard from relatives who have lost their only photos through fires, floods, and other events. These photos and all information is meant to be shared for eternity!

RE: Daniel Davidson & Sarah White
My lineage is the same, except as his grandfather / grandmother. I emailed you a document. Would love to see that sketch, but I'm not on ancestry.

RE: Daniel Davidson & Sarah White
I see now that you are referring to Daniel, Sr., the Revolutionary War Veteran. Yes, I have a source other than the bio on his memorial that says James as well.

There are many Daniels, however, I assume you are referring to Daniel #40271919, born 1820. Are you related to him? There are several sources I used, but I'm not a genealogists, so I would be curious to know if I took a wrong turn.

RE: Franklin Cook Hays - Verm Co IL
Franklin Cook Hays is listed as a physician in the 1860 census and his occupation is listed as a farmer in all census records following his service in the Civil War. I see you have posted an inquiry about the photography shop on Ancesty.com. My Hays/Cichon tree is on Ancestry & public, so feel free to look at it. I don't recall a Hays family member being a photographer, but you never know. If I come across something, I'll be sure to let you know.

Thanks for contacting me.
