Bio

"Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it." I heard this phrase at a young age and was intrigued. To hold an old document or book in my hands imparts a feeling of connection with the past. I find cemeteries to be a peaceful place where I can reconnect with the very people who are the fabric of our country and what it has become both good and bad. Had the people on these pages never lived we, and our country, would be very different.

"Find A Grave" provides me with a resource to search for my ancestors and help others discover theirs. I thank the founder for thinking of others in the course of his own research and putting that idea into practice on this site. I am also grateful to all of the contributors to this site who give their time & energy.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL PHOTOGRAPHS POSTED BY ME ARE MY PROPERTY! THEY MAY BE USED FOR YOUR PRIVATE USE BUT MAY NOT BE REPRODUCED, POSTED TO OTHER WEBSITES, PUBLISHED OR USED FOR ANY OTHER PUBLIC USE WITHOUT MY WRITTEN PERMISSION!

Scaling photos to upload here loses some detail & sometimes makes the stones hard to read. I do maintain originals & will be happy to provide a copy if needed. If you need an unscaled copy please email me with the deceased name, cemetery name & memorial number. Any corrections to memorials that I manage may be submitted through the edit link on the upper right corner of the memorial.

I photograph and record cemeteries to preserve history. Providing families with information is secondary for me. If I have added relatives of yours and you would prefer to manage those memorials please request a transfer and I will transfer as soon as possible.

Happy Hunting!!
