My interest in genealogy started when I was a teen. I never knew my mother's mother since she'd passed away when I was an infant but she'd led such a fascinating life I kept bugging my mother for more and more information on her. Family from the Azores, born/raised in Hawaii, was going to become a nun then... met my grandfather, they started a dairy in CA... amazing people and I've always looked up to her and all my grandparents! So - she was the start of the interst in family history.

My interests, however, have blossomed since then since then. When I married my wife I took an interst in her family genealogy as well... always something to look up! The never ending search.
