I have been researching my family genealogy for quite sometime, especially the Nichols, Emerson, Palmer and Mitchell families. I am now working on the Hallmark and Mynatt families who are also my ancestors. I am looking for information to connect Robert and Jessie Hallmark. The families at one time lived in Marion County, AL., and around Belmont, MS. Would appreciate any help.

COINS LEFT AT A SOLDIERS GRAVE: These coins have a meaning when left on the headstones of those who gave their life while serving in America’s military, and these meanings vary depending on the denomination of coin. A coin tells the deceased soldier’s family that someone has visited the grave to pay respect. A penny means that you visited. A nickel that you and the deceased trained at boot camp together, a dime means you served with him, and a quarter means that you were with the solider when he Died.
