Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA; living just over the Butler County line now.|
I love the history in cemeteries; I have literally thousands of photos of beautiful and interesting monuments, just waiting for the time to sort through and upload them.
I'm also researching my own and several friend's family histories, so I have additional info on some of the memorials I've created - if questions or you are related :-) feel free to email me.
Please let me know via the 'edit' options if you see any errors, or want info updated/links added, etc.
The vast majority of headstone pictures I post on Find-A-Grave were taken by me and may be used freely (personal use, not commercial). No need to ask; I took them for you.
*** Please DO NOT copy my personal family photos without my permission ***
Note: If I am helping someone and uploading headstone photos on their behalf, their name will be noted as the photographer.

I think I made a mistake.
I think I put in that Elizabeth Carey 178668419 was the wife of
Francis Carey 178669547 it turns out this is his daughter

Yes I would love to have it transferred to me. Thank you so much
|Ron and Connie Anderson||Annis Lees Oldham Hope|
Mrs Hope's first husband was my 2nd great uncle, William Heap Oldham. I would like to connect her to his memorial. Would that be possible?
|Niagara2012||Albert C Meyers #147199143|
I didn't see anything that connects him.
|The Mentalist||Holy Souls duplicate|
Thanks for letting me know about my duplicate. I added my photo to the original one and deleted mine.

You're SO welcomed, Anne! As an aside of relief, while searching for the Bumps, I stumbled into another family that I thought had no markers; I think there were a couple rows there that got missed by the people who walked so now I'm trying to record that area to make sure.

I'm working on my husband's family and have a note John, born 27 Jan 1874 England, died 7 Nov 1954 South Side Hospital, buried Calvary Cemetery. There are two John Mangan's, both with no dates. His wife Florence, remarried and moved to Chicago and kids are in Jefferson Memorial. No way to identify which one is him. Any idea? Thank you so much for doing this. Nancy Romig
|Jeff Hall||Thank you|
Hello Anne, many thanks for the excellent headstone photo added for Sgt Herman Vaglia. Nice work!
|sagesteps||Too Many Harrison Grahams|
Thank you for catching my mistake. I have resent an edit, only this time for Margaret Graham Spangler's real parents.

Hi Anne, Monongahela Cemetery has it's own website (which also has errors)however, Margaret Milton is not in Monongahela. The Manager of that memorial has dumped hundreds of memorials into Monongahela that actually belong in St. Mary's. I have been working with the president at Monongahela Cemetery to create a searchable database with tombstone photo's obits death birth and marriage records as well as military records. the cemetery phone number is 724-258-8750 if you would like to call and verify the information I gave you. All that being said there are people on Find A Grave who do not care about accuracy and so far have refused to correct the errors.
http://www.monongahelacemetery.com/Search.aspx if you want to verify a burial in Monongahela check there website. It also has mistakes but we are working on them, or call Mark at the office. Let me know if I can help you with any others.
