Bio

I am a dedicated genealogist. I spend much of my free time working in the community as a Volunteer; a volunteer for TXGen Web Project for Goliad, Victoria, Uvalde, Medina, and Nueces counties; a volunteer for Find A Grave for Victoria, Goliad, Jackson, Calhoun, Uvalde, and Medina counties; as well as being a member of or serve in chapter, state, and national offices in DAR, NSUSD 1812, ADDA, IM32, DRT, MAWS, UDC, OCR, TSGS, and GCGS.

I host/assit with several family reunions a year for the Kent, Johnson, Ponton, Rudinger, Tillotson, Turner, and Zumwalt families. I have finished one line of family history pertaining to the Loftin family that I have published and hope to finish a book on the Johnson Family Line, followed by one on the Tillotson Family Line.

I have several Facebook Heritage Lines:

Twisted Branches & Tangled Roots Family Research Services; Capt. "Black" Adam Zumwalt Family Line;
William and Isabella Moreland Ponton Family;
Henry William and Polly Johnson Pullin Family Hertiage; James Thomas & Martha Ann Thomas Burrall Johnson Family Heritage; Ed and Lillie Mae Tillotson Turner Family Heritage.

Please feel free to copy any photographs I have taken or put up...they are there for us as family historians to share--not hoard.

Today, I continue to research all the branches of my family tree. I have spent many hours talking on the phone, sitting behind a computer, and figuring out just how somebody's special someone fits into the family.

I love taking photos for others as well as my family as much as I love putting on my most comfortable pair of tennis shoes for a walk in the cemetery that is neatly manicured or is as overgrown as the dense jungles of exotic lands.

I hope to hear from any of my family members no matter how distant or close. And always remember: The mighty oak began as a single acorn. Albeit grew slow, it grew mighty sure.
