RE: Translation of Headstones
Thank you Maxine,
They most likely are in Yiddish and that is why they might be more difficult. That is why I will just send you them one at a time, because I know that it is alot of work.

RE: Hebrew Translation on Headstones
Great Maxine, many thanks, at least we can give her a name so people can find her if they are searching!

Some are in Hebrew, but it might really be Yiddish, hence the difficuly.

Thank you Maxine, that is very kind of you. you will be credited with all the translations, of course! There may be some that are in Yiddish also.

Washington Cemetery
Hi Maxine,
I noticed your memorial in Washington Cemetery in NJ, and wanted to ask you if you can read and translate Hebrew?....I'm in need of someone who can help translate some headstones in that Cemetery.

Do you have any more info, like dates (particularly date of death)? I'm planning a trip to Lawnswood Cemetery in the next few weeks, but without a bit more info, finding your request will probably be impossible (it's big graveyard!)

RE: Leo L. Jewell Memorial
Most likely the information that was placed on his memorial page was provided by me. I placed the flower to remind myself not to do further searching. I am not related to Leo Jewell, but his mother (Mildred Katherine Slattman) married a second time to Robert Nelson. Robert's parents are Amos Nelson & Sadie Washington. Don't have proof that this is the correct Robert Nelson.
Are you related to other persons that lived in Paulding County Ohio?

Arden Estate Cemetery
Hi, Maxine. I came across the memorials/burials you put up for Arden Estate. Many of the names on those memorials are of those buried in what internment.net calls "Arden Cemetery", which is located outside of the estate. Here's a link to their list....

http://www.interment.net/data/us/ny/orange/arden_cemetery.htm

I'm planning a hike in the area soon with a visit to the Orange County Historical Society, if I can ascertain a name I'll create a cemetery on findagrave, if not I'll name it Arden Cemetery. If you like, I'll let you know when I do, perhaps you'll consider moving your memorials/burials from Arden Estate to the new cemetery. Thanks, Rob.
