First of all, thanks to all the wonderful find-a-grave contributors that have helped me "learn the ropes", for the transfers, and the hard work in keeping the many memorials accurate and respected.

All of the memorials I manage at this point are family profiles and a few very special friends. I have been doing the Edwards/Messer family research for 33 years and love digging through the info! That of course includes several other surnames such as Elmore, Imboden, McKay, Elliott, Baker, Booe, Dodson, Williams, Scott, and the list goes on. Many of these family members and ancestors are buried at Oak Hill Cemetery and surrounding areas of Galena, Kansas. On one particular line I have linked back 5 generations on findagrave. With the exception of the Bakers and Imbodens, most are buried in the Galena/Joplin area.

My motive is not to have many memorials, but to keep accurate profiles of our family and respect their memory. If you see that we are related or want more info regarding any of these memorials, I would love to share and trade family history with anyone interested.

If you see a duplicate that I have added, please let me know as I may not have seen it. Send an edit and SAC, and I will delete the duplicate. (as per find-a-grave guidelines) I am happy to transfer, to family, any record, especially if I'm not related. One exception...I reserve the right to keep any memorial that is my direct family that I have added or manage.
Bottom-line, family should be together if those profiles are being cared for.
