Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love learning about my ancestors and the times and countries in which they lived. My direct lines lead me back to France, Germany, Switzerland, and the UK.

Please leave flowers for fallen graver J. Stephen Brangan, who, along with his wife, took many photos for FAG.

About my photos: I take care not to disturb grave sites, and use only passive techniques to get shots, aside from brushing away some leaves or grasses with my hands. You have my permission to use my volunteer photos in any of your online family trees (such as on,, etc.) All I ask is that you credit me.

RE: Busby photos
You are very welcome. I found the other 2 Busby photos in Mount Tabor, but I'd like to try and get a better shot before posting. I'll try to get it done soon.

Patrick McTague (1850-1911) # 151257915

This memorial appears to be for my great-grandfather. Thank you for creating it.

I wonder where the information about his parents is from: the headstone or the cemetery file?

I have more information about Patrick, but I would like to confirm that this is my gg before I offer any edits to your memorial. I have visited this plot, but there is no marker for it. I have a cousin who is contemplating adding a stone if we are indeed related to this Patrick.

Thanks again,
John McTague

Marie (Jones) Akins
I have an inquiry about Marie Akins (#104438522). I have an ancestor named Mary Marie (Jones) Akins. She was born in Harrison Co., Indiana, ca. 1876 to George and Tabitha Jones. Do you have any knowledge about the parents or siblings of the Marie Akins buried in Evergreen Cemetery?

Fun finding stones
Hi Natalie. Just a message to tell you how much I love photographing stones and then finding that there is already a memorial created by you! You and Lulabell have wonderfully complete memorials and it's a pleasure to attach photos to those great mem's. Here's to warmer, sunnier cemetery (as well as to busy, full-of-life) days!

RE: Thank you
thank you first for the 'correction' I suggested.

But..ah genealogy, what a puzzle it can be.

I have a new twist on this Delia Cronin Shea person..

While there is no doubt, good handwriting etc. on two town records for John Owen Quigley's marriage to Lila Tomlin - that HIS mother was Delia....and on those two records her maiden name was Delia Shea....

However...the birth records I've found for John Owen and his siblings shows their mother as Delia Cronin!
Perhaps the note should say s/o Edward and Delia Shea? Cronin? (tongue in cheek)

I like the puzzle here and should be able to figure this out. I'll let you know. My wife (John's grandaughter) thinks she has some buried papers her father worked on at one time to help!

Warm regards

Thanks Natalie for transferring my great grandmothers memorial over to me! It's much appreciated.
What I wouldn't give to have an hour long conversation with her!
