Giradin - St. Adalberts
Hi Susan,
We moved these folks from St. Mary's to St. Adalbert's in Lancaster a while back. I didn't know if you still wanted photo request as there's no request on the memorials in the new location. I'll head there over the weekend if you still want them; just put in the request if you do. Thanks! Kathi

RE: Mantell in St. Mary's Lancaster
Hi Susan,
Those four stones are all together in section ASJS. It would be no small feat to find stones for the two babies. They wouldn't be in ASJS; they would be in a much older area, but I doubt they exist. The oldest burials are directly behind the church (flat ground) and then run down the hill. There is a specific area on the backside of the hill for child burials, but I don't think it's quite that old. I'll check the stones next time I'm there and get a better feel the the dates in that spot. I've been through the area enough times that if I saw the name it would have popped out at me. If I can't find any stones after checking the old children's section (there is another one used after 1900 or so) do you want me to photograph it and upload it to your requests for the two children? Kathi

Mantell in St. Mary's Lancaster
I've added Rose Mantell Patterson #168662592, daughter of Herman and Theresa. If you'd like to request a photo, I'll upload it. She is buried with them in section ASJS. Their name is MANTELL on all of the stones.

John O'Brien
Mount Calvary cemetery has no listing for any O'Brien with a death date of 1998. Please verify and I will then try to fulfil your request. Please send a reply.

Frank Kuntz son of John Kuntz NOT
Sorry but John was only 12 when Frank was born and not likely his father.

Mensch in Friesburg Emanuel Lutheran Church
I walked the entire cemetery today, the older stones are very worn, some indecipherable. I did see Adam Mensch on 2 tombstones, on one the dates were in the 1800's on the other indecipherable. I do have pics and one of the wife of Adam Mensch ....Barbara Kerns? Not sure I should upload them if I'm not sure they are right...

Charles Wood in Boyds Cemetery
You had posted a request for a Charles Wood who is supposedly buried in Boyd's Cemetery in Stueben County, New York. I have visited this cemetery and have taken numerous photos and I have found two Charles Wood graves, but neither matches the dates you have down in your request.
One has dates of 1842-1909?? and the other has dates of 1859-1931. Let me know if either might be your Charles Wood.

RE: Ida Carlson
I wondered about that as her parents are buried in Kasson as well. I'll see if we can find her there. Thanks
