Bio

A well-crafted memorial is the work of many people. The transcriptionist, either working from a list or from actually walking the cemeteries, lays the foundation. The photographers (what we do) provide visual proof that the person is really buried in that specific location, plus a good picture can really enhance the memorial. And the biographies/obituaries, family links, etc. are the finishing touches that combine to create a loving tribute to a person passed, but still remembered. We truly appreciate the efforts of everyone who contributes to this site, in whatever capacity.

If you find discrepancies in anything we have posted, please let us know! Our whole goal is accuracy, not the number of memorials we have posted. And if you find someone and would like to have the maintenance of their memorial, please ask - we will transfer ownership to someone who is a family member, if their line of descent is more closely linked than ours, or even to a friend, if we are not related. We just want them to have a good "home."

Permission to use photos that we have taken is granted for family use. Also, if you have taken a better gravestone photo than one we have posted, please let us know and we will delete ours in favor of the best one.

Postscript - you may see where we have created memorials with no known burial details. We do that sparingly and ONLY where the person has family with known burial locations to be linked to. We do not want the information to be lost. Please let us know if you have knowledge of the burial location and we will immediately update it.
