RE: Perrys in Freeport Valley Cemetery
I am pretty sure it was on the side of the stone. I am not positive, as we tried to capture each and every inscription in the cemetery (and it was a wet and cloudy day), but the shape of the stone in both pictures is the same, so as I say I am quite sure they were all on the one stone.

Whoops- sent you to the wrong tree on Rootsweb. That's my main family, not my husband's. Correct link is http://worldconnect.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=swvickery

I should also have mentioned that I have a fair number of Perry family members on my husband's family tree. Your own line might be partially included. If you are interested it is on Rootsweb (and also on Ancestry). The Rootsweb address is http://worldconnect.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=svickery

I did have a photo of the gravestone for James, but did not add that since you had already done so. I went ahead and added that a few minutes ago, but that is the only photo I have of that stone, and already entered the one for their son and daughter. I can delete my photo of the one for James and just leave yours, but thought that might be the easiest way for you to see the photo I have.

RE: Potter @ Pine Grove
You're welcome Darren, I'm sorry the inscription side did not come out better. It's under a tree and the contrast to see the lettering made it tough being a dark colored stone.

Best Regards,

Rick Weaver

PS: If you'd like me to transfer any/all Potter family members to you, just do a "suggest a correction" with the word "transfer" and I'll to them right away.

Esther Perry Harwood
Thanks for her birth date. This helps confirm her birth and death statistics. Its not the first time an inscription error has confused the issue. When I saw the state of the stone and the Harwood name I felt I had to document it. I am directly related through Rachel Harwood who married Stephen Pierce on 1 Dec 1722. Rachel and John are likely related.
