I have been researching my family history for 10+ years. Family names I am researching are:|
St. Cin, Lanius, Spinks, Campbell, Compton, Reeves, Baker, Berkel, Fisher and many other related.
I enjoy going to the cemeteries. I like to be able to place flowers on the graves of people who have passed on. So many of these graves have been lost and or forgotten. I feel it is a blessing if I can help even a small few people find their lost loved ones.
I also like to imagine how and where people lived, some so very long ago.
IF YOU SEND ME A CORRECTION FOR ONE OF MY MEMORIALS, AND I HAVE NO WAY TO CONTACT YOU, YOUR CORRECTIONS MAY NOT BE MADE. SORRY.

I'm giving you all the related memorials so you can clearly see the confusion between TWO family lines and the fact that your nice tributes help confuse the two separate lines. Look at the written memorials and photos for: John Campbell (1656-1734) at Derry Presbyterian Cemetery in Dauphin Co., PA, Memorial No. 19229926 created by GerbLady May 4, 2007; his SON (huge slab gravestone) JAMES (1691-17717)also at Derry in Dauphin Co., Memorial No. 19229940, also created by GerbLady, Col. Patrick Campbell (1696-1767) also at Derry, Memorial No. 180329967 by Eileen Cunningham, (cites history of burial and reburial in Egle's County History dated 1883); James Campbell II d. Aug. 25, 1757 (next to James b. 1691 in Derry Cemetery) Memorial No. 19229930 created by GerbLady; and next to him Pvt. James Campbell d. June 10, 1783 in Derry Cemetery, Memorial No. 19229935 created by GerbLady. Then look at Memorials No. 13194450 by Stella--nice memorial for John Campbell 1674-1741 of Augusta County, VA, but wrong photo added by a Deborah Smith records added in 2014, and Memorial No. 79791296 by "Gathering Roots" 2011 for same John Campbell of Augusta linking him to Patrick in Derry (wrong one--this John's brother, Patrick was born in 1682 and died in 1753 and left a will in Augusta) to which you've added a tribute confusing the two lines. as you did for the John Campbell who died in 1734. There were really two lines and the two John Campbells were born in two different years; Ditto the two James' Campbells. See the problems now?

Which Campbell were you claiming was brother to your Patrick who was born in 1696. Was it John born in 1656, as per the gravestone, or James Junior born in 1719? It is highly unlikely, virtually impossible that Patrick was brother to John. He may have been the oldest brother to James Junior who was born 23 years after Patrick was, but even that is questionable. Is it possible you meant to describe Patrick as a son of John, or brother to James Sr.?

May I request for you to transfer my Father-n-law to me? Cindy King

Hi, Diana, I noted that you had some information on Lawrence posted on find a grave and I was wondering where you gleened your info from. Is there a headstone or marker of any kind there in the Dillard cemetery or are there any records of who and where someone is buried. Any photos or information would be greatly appreciated. I too am doing family research and Lawrence was my mothers twin brother. Thank you for any help you may have.

Diana I wanted to ask you if there is a way to add my grandfather's children that have passed that I am able to find. Is there a link I can add or you can add? My grandparents are buried at the Davisville Cemetery. They had 11 children. 2 of the boys were little when they passed so they are in this cemetery too. Please let me know as I would like to add as many of their children or link them together. I am 65 so I don't think there are to many others that would try in my family.

Thank you so much for what you do. Could you possibly assign the above to me, as he is/was my uncle.
Thank you so much for your consideration

|Holley Izard||Mildred Marie Turner Longley|
I am working on a DAR application for a granddaughter of Mildred Turner Longley and having trouble finding proof for this woman. Because you have an inscription noted on your memorial page, I'm thinking there is a tombstone.
There are many unfulfilled requests for photos at Steelville Cemetery, so it seems no one is taking pictures there. If there is any way you can help me get a photo of this tombstone I would very much appreciate it. We are in Texas, many miles away.
Alternately, do you have the name of someone who might have the burial records who could send me any documentation the cemetery has?
Thank you, Holley Izard
|Tony Compton||Need help|
Hi. My name is Tony Compton. I am the grandson of Elmer Harmon. I could use some help with My 2nd great grandfather Noah Harmon. He is not listed under his father Reuben Harmon's information. I would also gladly help with any information you need on the Comptons & other family relatives I have found. If you send a message, don't worry if I don't answer really fast. I am taking care of my elderly mother & only get into the library once a week or so. Thanks for any help.
