I am a retired Electrical Engineer that was born and raised in North Dakota and graduated from NDSU in 1967. I spent my entire career in the Microelectronics Manufacturing industry. My first 11 years were with Motorola's Semiconductor Division in Phoenix and it was during that time that my genealogy interest grew with many, many visits to the Mormon library in Mesa, AZ. It wasn't until 1985 when I moved back to the midwest (Mpls) and the advent of the personal computers and the digitizing of leaps and bounds of information that my database of family ancestors/descendants grew by leaps and bounds. I have given back to Find A Grave while also taking info from its database. My mother's side of the family immigrated from Norway and Sweden. My father's side of the family immigrated from County Kerry and County Carlow in Ireland. The Doyle's came from St. Mullins, County Carlow and settled in Minnesota and Iowa.

I am now less than 2 months from my 78th birthday and will soon be looking for someone in the family to take over the 2900 person database I have in Ancestry.com
